Cranberry Mango Appetizer

Here’s an amazingly easy appetizer to put together when your mind has gone blank and people are coming to visit.  The bonus is that this appetizer tastes great…a little tart, a little sweet and a whole lot of good!

1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 small jar of Mango Chutney
1 pkg. cream cheese, room temp
Crackers of your choice* 

Mix the cranberry sauce and Mango Chutney together and put in bowl.  Put the bowl on a larger plate and surround with crackers.

Put the cream cheese on a separate plate.  Or, if you prefer, you can spread the cranberry/mango mixture over the cream cheese.  Your choice.

*I prefer water crackers because of their thinness.  They also allow all the flavors of the topping to come through without overwhelming it with the taste of the cracker.  Of course, feel free to experiment with any flavor of crackers you prefer.
