On our trip out West we stayed at the Ft. Stockton RV Park. It sits off Exit I-10 at exit 264. The physical address is 264 Warnock Road, Ft. Stockton, TX and their phone number is 432.395.2494.
This is the view from our RV when we parked. Yes, it’s wide open spaces and could look lonely but for me it was peaceful. The spaces weren’t crowded and there was plenty of room for me to roam.
Dad and Mom were thrilled that there was a café right there in the park. They were worn out from driving and didn’t want to unhook the car and drive some more. The Roadrunner Café was a pleasant surprise in this wide expansive area. I know…because they brought me some leftovers. They really liked the ribs that Carlos, the cook, had prepared. I have to say that I agree about Carlos’ ability to cook. And, they said the prices were really reasonable.
I kept hearing them talk about Carlos and what a small world it was. It appears that Carlos used to live in Texas…not too far from where we all used to live in a sticks and bricks home.
This park had all the amenities that most parks do and Dad was thrilled that we were able to get TV from our satellite. Hey, when Dad’s happy…so am I.
The park was $27./night with a Passport discount. We counted ourselves lucky since we were in wide open spaces with not too many choices. The management were so nice and kept telling us to call them if we needed anything.

This is the sign that we saw as we were leaving. No problem…we’ll stay there again the next time we head out west.
On a scale of 1-5, I give this RV Park 5 trees. It was clean and had everything that we needed plus that fun food place…The Roadrunner Café.

So, until next time, keep your journeyz safe and we’ll see you on the trail!
