I hate writing negative reviews but it needs to be done if we’re being fair. Mom chose this RV park because it was close to some of the BBQ places they were going to check out.
The River Bend RV Park was clean and appeared to have quite a few permanent RVers. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and made sure Mom and Dad understood the rules.
We had a pull through site that was easy to navigate and was next to Webb Racing Stables and the racetrack. It made for very pleasant views.
You’re probably wondering if all that was so pleasant and good…what’s the problem. Well, I must admit…I was the problem.
Mom and I walked over to the racetrack to get some photos of the horses. Before crossing the road, we made sure it was clear because there was a white pick up truck that seemed to stop moving when it spotted us. It was about 1/4 mile away. We crossed over and While Mom took pictures…I did what dogs do outside. I answered nature’s call.
We were back in the RV when just a minute or two later, the woman from the front desk was at the door knocking. She told my Dad that Mom hadn’t picked up after me when I’d done my job. Dad assured her in a very nice tone that we’d go right over and clean it up. I was so embarrassed. Dad immediately followed through on his promise.
About 15 minutes later we were outside getting everything ready to get back on the road. We noticed the white pick up truck again. It circled our site…not just once…but continuously until we pulled out.
We have never been “spied” on before and we are always careful to not leave anything behind. This particular instance slipped by Mom.
Because of the actions of this particular management, we won’t be ever staying there again…nor, would I imagine they would allow us in again for this one transgression.
RATING: 1-5 trees with 5 being the highest rating:

We’re giving this campground one tree for spying on their campers…even after Dad and Mom complied and apologized.
